Bank of America Awards $1,000 to BBBS
Time to Build a Stronger Community!
Bank of America has recently chosen Big Brothers Big Sisters to be a recipient for a $1,000 grant because of the agency’s work with youth in the community. With Bank of America’s goals to create meaningful change in the communities it serves, local branch manger Monique Scarlett was pleased a local organization received funding from the Bank of America Foundation.
With funding from Bank of America, Big Brothers Big Sisters will provide match activities for its site-based collaboration with Briar Cliff University. Currently the agency has over 40 mentoring relationships between boys and girls and Briar Cliff University sports teams.
Big Brothers Big Sisters wishes to thank the Bank of America Foundation and their employees for helping change how a child grows up in Siouxland. Without their help, many of the matching activities couldn't occur.
For those seeking additional information regarding mentoring or other site-based programs like Briar Cliff's, please contact Becky Murphy at 712-239-9890.
Bank of America staff presents Vice President Camilla Shimonek with a $1,000 check.
